My Brother - In - Law |

God you know Jason's situation. You know he has a terrible addiction to alcohol. I also know that as near death as he was last night, you choose not to take him. You brought my sister Christi to his side in time for the Emergency Help to bring him back. I pray that you will carry him through the treatment he's beginning now and if it be your will heal him both mentally and physically. I also pray that Jason will grow to Love you all the more. I know he knows who you are. I also believe he has accepted you as Christ his Savior. I pray that he will allow your strength to help him accept and want help to overcome and conquer this terrible disease.

I know exactly what Jason is going through. Alcohol is a disease, just like any other addiction. Pornography, smoking, drugs, sexual bondages, etc etc etc. All of those are deseases that only God can set them free of.
Jason, I'm on your side!

My brother - in - law was released from the alcohol addiction facility on Saturday. It seems like that is far too soon. The Dr. talked with him and made it very clear to him that he should have died that night. Jason says he wants this to stop. I'm realizing that this hasn't just been a craving for him but his addiction is so far beyond that, that his body has to have it. They've have put him on a medication that will cost him $177.00 a month. His wife has been unemployed and is trying very hard to get back on her feet. Jason just lost his job for the third time in three months due to his alcohol addiction. The same employer who knows how hard Jason works when he's sober said he just can't do it again. My mom is working to try to get him perscription assistance.
Today is Jason's 30th birthday. Thank you God for saving his life so that were celebratiing another birthday rather than burying him in the ground today. I also know you will fill their needs and I ask others to pray for them also. I couldn't imagine what my sister has experiencd but I know I will always be there for her. I just want her not to be embarrassed but let me be there to support and love them.
I praise you Lord, Jennifer
